MEMO NOT SHOWN IN JOURNAL ENTRY WITH SPLIT ACCOUNTS

Hi, I am doing journal entry and I noticed that while I have put memo in the entry, when I save and close it, the memo won't show in the general view if it's a split entry. Can you advice me on this? I wanted the memo to be reflected in the general view of the entry when viewing the Bank Register list of transactions.
