Announcing the new CustomBooks™ Payroll module! This new module aims to provide an alternative to Intuit Online Payroll by leveraging our expertise in cloud-based accounting. It offers features such as real-time data accuracy, anytime and anywhere access, and seamless integration with CustomBooks™'s existing suite of products.

Here are a few of the things Cloud Payroll has to offer:

A quick, simple, and seamless onboarding process that includes forms for company, employee, and bank information and so much more.
Company info that pulls directly from your account settings so you don't have to input data twice. We also offer a plethora of taxpayer types to choose from. Easily complete your federal and state tax info, and we handle the rest. All filings are done on your behalf!
Multiple ways to connect your bank account for payments. You can either input your routing and account numbers manually to verify via micro-transactions, or you can connect automatically via Plaid without having to leave your screen.
A pay schedule set specifically for your business. Whether you're paying employees weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly, you can choose the frequency that you need or use the custom option to manage your pay dates.
Easily run your regular payroll, review previous payrolls, and even generate off-cycle payrolls for things like bonuses and corrections.
Employees can be added manually, or they can self-onboard and enter the information on their own behalf. You can quickly monitor the status of self-onboarding employees via the Self-management Tool available in the Payroll menu.
Easily manage deductions, garnishments, and benefits. You can choose from our pre-populated catalogs or create your own custom entries.
Review your annual payroll summary using the End of Year report.
Pay employees easily via direct deposit, or print checks as needed directly from the application.

For employees that are set to be paid via direct deposit, multiple bank accounts can be used so that the payment is automatically disbursed to separate accounts.

For employees being paid via check, checks can be printed directly from the application with either Gusto check stock or blank check stock. Whichever format you choose, both the check and earning statement will be printed. Lost a check? Not a problem! Checks can easily be reprinted if needed.
Payroll check numbers are automatically added to the Journal Entry memo line. This number carries over to the Bank Register and Bank Reconciliation, making these entries easily identifiable.
Converting from another payroll provider? No problem! The External Payroll function gives you a straightforward path to update historical payrolls, including deductions and tax payments, before you start fresh in our Payroll, and our team can assist you!
