How the CustomBooks™ customization process works?
- Pre-Customization Agreement Form & Initial Call
Complete a quick pre-customization form to schedule a call with our project manager. This call helps us understand your business requirements and allows us to send you the customization agreement. - Customization Agreement
Before the Discovery Call, sign our customization agreement. This non-binding agreement facilitates information exchange while ensuring mutual security. It will be emailed to you for an electronic signature. - Discovery Call
In this call, our project manager will evaluate the project scope. Developers may join the call, which may include screen sharing and document exchange. - Business Requirements
After the call, we will assess and send you the business requirements for the customization. You can make adjustments or approve them. - Statement of Work & Quote
We will email you a detailed statement of work and quote, requiring an electronic signature for validation. This document outlines the project scope, timeline, and estimated costs. - 50% Customization Deposit
An invoice for 50% of the customization cost will be issued, payable in advance before development begins. Payment indicates commitment from both parties. - Development & UAT
Once development is complete, we’ll provide instructions for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This crucial step allows you to test the customization and request any final changes. - Remaining 50% Payment
After successful UAT, an invoice for the remaining 50% will be issued. Payment enables us to move the customization to live production, integrating it into your operations. - User Acceptance Agreement
Once the customization is live, you will receive a user acceptance agreement to sign, confirming that the customization meets your expectations and marking the project as complete.
