CustomBooks™ Release Notes | Labrador 2024.11.12

  1. 1099 forms have been updated with the latest regulatory changes for the 2024 filing year.
    To update your 1099 settings, you can navigate to Accounting > Accounting Settings > 1099 Settings and then set 2024 as the latest year for the 1099 Report and Tax Lines settings. An update wizard will appear when you select the current year, and this will walk you through any changes that might need to be made. Alternatively, you can also navigate to Lists > 1099 Categories to update to the current year and review your mapping and settings.

  2. Improvements have been made to the Inventory Adjustment document. Classes can now be assigned on Inventory Adjustments. Also, when posting single-item inventory adjustments, equity accounts are now available for selection, similar to when posting multi-item adjustments.
      
  3. For documents that have a due date, a warning message will appear if the document has a Due Date that is prior to the Document Date. The dates will need to be corrected in order to post.
  4. When voiding a transaction, the date selection popup will now default to the current date to prevent accidental updates of prior accounting periods, rather than displaying the date of the voided document as previously designed.
  5. In Deposits, when adding Accounts Receivable account types to the G/L tab, each row can have a unique customer.
  6. For our Cloud Payroll users, we have a new report showing Benefits and Deductions with selection options by employees, work locations, and departments.
  7. The multi-currency user interface has been given a refresh. To open the currency list, navigate to Lists > Currencies. We have add a "Country" field on the currency record and the Currencies list to easily see where this currency is utilized. You can also now sort the currency list based on any of the available fields.
