These release notes detail the new features and improvements in the Labrador 2025.10.30 update for CustomBooks™. This release includes enhancements to Embedded Cloud Payroll and updates to how Serial Numbers are handled in documents.


Improvements

Embedded Cloud Payroll

  1. Cloud Payroll users: a wider array of Alerts and Action Items was enabled, to provide more detail on notifications or potential issues with the payroll account. These alerts are found under Payroll → Alerts/Action Items.

Documents: Entering Serial Numbers

  1. The interpretation of spaces and commas in Serial Numbers was updated, for a better user experience:
    1. When a serial number is entered with a space, it is interpreted as one serial number. Ex: serial number entered as ‘lorem ipsum’ would be read as one serial number.
    2. When a serial number is entered with a comma, it is interpreted as multiple serial numbers. Ex: serial number entered as ‘lorem, ipsum’ would be read as two serial numbers.
