Chart of Accounts
You can now seamlessly add Opening Balances while importing your Chart of Accounts!
This feature is available:
- from the Setup Wizard if you choose to import your Chart of Accounts,
- from the Data Import Wizard when Chart of Accounts is selected,
- or when navigating to Chart of Accounts → More Actions → Import → From CSV file.
You will now be able to map to three new fields labelled:
- Beginning Balance CR
- Beginning Balance DR
- Beginning Balance Date
A beginning balance entry, or entries if multiple dates are designated, will be created automatically upon the completion of your import. These journal entries can be reviewed at your convenience by navigating to Accounting → Journal Entries.
Cloud Commerce
Improvements have been made for Inventory Adjustments that are generated when creating new Items. The location used in the adjustment will now pull from the Staging Order and not from the default location as previously seen.
