How do I print the components of an assembly build on a printed sales invoice?
By default, only the final product is printed on printed documents. However, there is an option to print the components on the sales invoice. To do so, take the following steps:
1) Navigate to Admin Panel → Print Form Setting.
2) Select and open the Custom Sales Invoice (Product) template or if you do not have a custom template created yet, you may create a copy from the default Sales invoice template.
3) On the Fields tab, check the box labeled "Explode Assembly BOM".
Check out the video below for a visual representation of how an invoice appears to your customers when you include an Assembly Item.
