How to attach external documents when emailing Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, etc

When emailing a Sales invoice or other CustomBooks™ document, it is possible to attach external documents to the email.

Attaching external documents

  1. In the document, click Print (instead of email).  The print preview screen appears.
  2. Click the Send option.
  3. Choose a format(s) for the document.
  4. Click Continue. The compose email window appears.
  5. Click the plus sign and browse for the external document that you'd like to attach.
  6. Add a recipient.
  7. Add a message for the email body.
  8. Click Send.
