Item Categories


Item Categories allow you to group products and services for the purpose of organization, pricing and reporting. It may be used in conjunction with the Price Matrix to create a complex pricing structure or to simplify the entry of pricing data in CustomBooks. After Item Categories are defined, they are available to be associated to Items and applied to the Price Matrix for pricing purposes.

Creating Item Categories


  1. Navigate to Lists → Item Categories.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter a Description for the Category.
  4. Click Save to save a draft or Save and Close to finish.
