Modifying Your Payroll Settings

Modifying Your Payroll Settings

CustomBooks™'s Cloud Payroll module has several settings that provide you the flexibility you need in order to run your company's payroll quick and efficiently. To change your payroll settings, navigate to Payroll > General Settings inside of the application.
Please note, navigating to Admin Panel > General Settings will take you to a different set of settings.
Once the payroll settings have opened, you will be able to:
  1. set your payroll to run on AutoPay, provided that your company meets the following two requirements:
    1. All employees must be set to be paid via direct deposit rather than by check
    2. All employees must be set to be compensated on a salary basis
  2. With AutoPay, payrolls will automatically be submitted one day prior to each submission deadline (4 PM Pacific Time). You can still cancel, edit, and resubmit payroll prior to the deadline, if needed.
  3. change the email address that is used when sending Payroll Portal emails from CustomBooks™. This email address must be from a user associated with the CustomBooks™ tenant.
  4. determine whether or not to show future paystubs to employees in the Payroll Portal.
  5. determine whether or not to show future pay periods in Cloud Payroll. If enabled, you can select how far in advance to see future pay periods, with three months being the maximum duration allowed.

Like all other settings in CustomBooks™, your settings will automatically save once you make changes. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our support team.
