Shipping Carriers in CustomBooks™
A Shipping Carrier is a company or service that transports goods from one location to another. Common examples include UPS, FedEx, and USPS. In CustomBooks™, Shipping Carriers are used on Sales documents, such as shipments, to track the carrier handling your orders.
Viewing Shipping Carriers
To view the list of Shipping Carriers in CustomBooks™:
Navigate to Lists > Shipping Carriers.

Creating New Shipping Carriers
You can add new shipping carriers manually in CustomBooks™:
Go to Lists > Shipping Carriers.
Click Create > New.
Enter the shipping carrier’s name or description.
Click Save or Save and Close.

Adding a Shipping Carrier On-the-Fly
When filling out a Sales document, you can quickly add a new shipping carrier:
In the Shipping Method drop-down field, click the green plus (+) icon button.
Enter the name and save.

ShipStation Integration
If you are using the ShipStation integration, shipping carriers are automatically imported from your ShipStation account. To update carriers, make changes directly in ShipStation.
