Using Charts in Reports

Charts are available in reports.   


Adding a chart

To add a chart,
  1. Click Charts in the header links.

  2. Click " Add Chart ".

  3. Select the type of chart from the dropdown.  The chart properties editor will be displayed.

  4. Choose the fields to report on by picking a value for the x-axis and y-axis.  The title will automatically update based on the choices made.

  5. The default is to report on the Top 5 results in the report, but this may be changed to 10, custom or all.    If choosing custom, enter a number and choose # to report on that number  or % to report the top x percent.

  6. If the values returned in the report represent a large spread, you may specify a minimum and maximum.

  7. Adjustments may be made for labels and formatting.

Removing a Chart



Click the link marked "Remove Chart".


Change Report Type

Choose a different chart type by selecting a different value in the Type dropdown.

Notes:   

  • You can add as many charts to a report as is needed.  
  • Chart settings may also be saved with the report settings.
