Yes!

CustomBooks™ supports the use of barcode scanners to help improve efficiency in inventory and transaction workflows. Barcode scanners can be used to quickly enter item data into various transactions, reducing manual entry and errors.


Barcode scanner compatibility

CustomBooks™ works with most standard barcode scanners as long as they are compatible with your computer and function as input devices (similar to a keyboard).
  1. Barcode scanners typically “type” or input the scanned code into a field
  2. This means no special or proprietary scanner is required
  3. USB and Bluetooth scanners are commonly used
In general, if a scanner can input data into a text field on your computer, it will work with CustomBooks™.
