The Gusto Integration (Payroll Import) in CustomBooks™ enables you to bring payroll data from Gusto directly into your accounting records. Instead of manually recording payroll transactions, the integration creates journal entries based on completed payroll runs in Gusto.
Payroll information in the CustomBooks™ Gusto integration is a one-way sync, meaning data flows from Gusto into CustomBooks™ only. Changes made in CustomBooks™ will not sync back to Gusto.
This feature helps ensure that wages, taxes, and deductions are accurately reflected in your financial reports while maintaining consistency between your payroll and accounting systems.
By automating the transfer of payroll data, users can improve accuracy, maintain proper account mapping, and keep their books up to date with minimal manual intervention.
With this integration, you can:
Import payroll transactions into CustomBooks™
Automatically generate journal entries
Maintain accurate payroll expense and liability tracking
Reduce manual bookkeeping errors
