Warehouse Transfers

The Warehouse Transfers feature enables inventory users to track and record item transfers between locations. The Multi-location feature must be enabled to utilize Warehouse Transfers.

Viewing the List of Warehouse Transfer


To view the list of Warehouse Transfers: Navigate to Inventory > Warehouse Transfers.


From the Warehouse Transfers List View, you can:
  1. Create new or Copy a Warehouse Transfer.
  2. View the General Journals, Audit Logs, and Document Register Records.
  3. Attach files to the selected Warehouse Transfer.
  4. Export the Warehouse Transfers List to ExcelPDF, or other formats.
  5. Manage Columnsaddremove, or reorder.
  6. Refresh the Warehouse Transfers list.
  7. Create multiple custom views using: Filters, Sorting, Ordering, Conditional Appearance Settings.

Viewing an Individual Warehouse Transfer


To view a specific Warehouse Transfer:
  1. Navigate to Inventory > Warehouse Transfers.
  2. Double-click the designed Warehouse Transfer document to open.



From the individual Warehouse Transfer view, you can:
  • Edit the Warehouse Transfer.
  • Email or Print an Internal Packing Slip-Warehouse Transfer.
  • View the General JournalsAudit Logs, and Document Register Records.
  • Attach files.
  • Reload/refresh the Warehouse Transfer.

Creating a New Warehouse Transfer


To create a new Warehouse Transfer:

  1. Navigate to InventoryWarehouse Transfers.
  2. Click Create > New, or Copy an existing Warehouse Transfer.
  3. Enter the Warehouse Transfer Number or let the system auto-assign. The Warehouse Transfer will use the next number configured in Document Auto-Numbering.
  4. Specify the Date of the transfer, if necessary. The system defaults to today’s date.
  5. Enter the Location From. The system defaults to the default location.
  6. Pick a Location To: from the drop-down list, which includes a list of all of your locations.
  7. If it's a consignment transfer, mark the Consignment Transfer checkbox.
  8. Click Add to add a product.
  9. Choose the Product Item from the drop-down list.
  10. Enter the Quantity to Transfer. The quantity is specified in the base unit of measure (Base UoM) if the product has more than one unit of measure.
  11. Add an internal memo on the Memo Tab, if desired.
  12. To save, click Save or Save and Close.


Printing an Internal Packing Slip-Warehouse Transfer


An Internal Packing Slip-Warehouse Transfer is used to record and track the movement of inventory items between different warehouse locations within a company. It includes details such as item codes, item descriptions, quantities, and originating and destination warehouses, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  1. To print, open a Warehouse Transfer and click the Print drop-down > select Internal Packing Slip-Warehouse Transfer, and then choose a print template.



  2. In the Packing Slip: Print Preview window, click Print. You can also send it via Email or Export it to Excel or PDF.
